Grab an Image
You've found the perfect image on another person's Web page. Did you know you can save that image to your hard drive? (It's always a good idea to ask permission first and may be imperative in some cases.) This lesson will show you how and then provide links to some online image libraries. The actual look of the menu for saving your graphic will vary from browser to browser. These are general guidelines.

1. Right click on the desired image and hold it until a pop-up menu something like this appears.

2. Select Save Picture As...

3. When prompted, save the file with an appropriate name and location. Make sure you save it into the directory/folder where you want it and use the proper filename extension! To be on the safe side with a PC, it's always best to use a 3-letter extension (example: yourgraphic.jpg)
